This is a daily occurrence. I get that you're trying to promote a new blog...but come on guys. Two of the three posts after this was made are also Sploid shares.
Ironically, it works in a way, because I actively want to avoid going to Sploid because of constant cross-posts, so the only way I'll ever see them is on Gizmodo.

RIP Gizmodo. Now hiptsters are running you into the ground.

I have completely stopped reading Giz for this reason. If I wanted to read that much sensationalist bullshit I'd go to Sploid directly.
Off to Engadget for me.

That said, Jalopnik do actually do quite a bit of this, they are sharing a lot of new sub-blog and related blog posts, it's just that what they do share isn't sensationalized garbage [generally].
*I only mention this because I feel like the [Racer.com] and [Road&Track] Kinja shares have been a little over the top as of late. Not that the stories aren't good, they usually are, I just feel like it's a bit too much content whoring.

What?

It's a bit what I complained about a couple days ago on here... Boats, planes, politics...etc. That's the week end program usually and I think it should be focused more on cars, coz after all, this is what we come for no?

Those varied interest posts (boats, planes, etc) actually appeal to me because they reflect my interests as well (fuck politics though). It's a bid to broaden or enhance Jalopnik's appeal both within its current audience and those outside of that and it is something that I am not against.
It's more the R&T, Racer, Hooniverse, etc. posts that cover things that I feel like Jalopnik could and perhaps should write about themselves that bug me in this way.

I totally come here for the planes. And sometimes cars and politics are one and the same.

In order to be approved by the Diaz, you must first think like a Diaz.

You know who else is pretty bad?
Just wrong. Same as pre-Sploid Diaz. Post a story without fact checking, then dismisses comments correcting him. I hope to never see that shit here in Jaloppo. If you're wrong, thank the reader for pointing it out before more corrections come in. I have seen all the editors here at one time or another accept criticism, note the correction, and move on.
There's a current one on that Lotus-badged bike.
